July 2011, China Trip
Master Aiping led a group of students to China to compete in the 2011 Eight Zhejiang International Traditional Wushu Competition. Congratulations to all students who participated.
APRIL 24, 2010, 10:00AM TO 1:00PM - WORLD TAI CHI & QIGONG DAY
We will be celebrating World Tai Chi & Qigong Day this year on the green in downtown Milford, CT (Broad Street). The event starts at 10:00AM and will run through 1:00PM. Come and join us for this world wide celebration of tai chi. See demonstrations and participate in the event. If you are interested in learning more about Tai Chi, this will be a great place to meet practitioners, ask questions, and witness a variety of styles.
DECEMBER 12, 2009 TAI CHI SWORD WORKSHOP
Master Aiping will be conducting a workshop on the tai chi sword from 10:00AM - 12:00PM on December 12, 2009. The workshop will be held at our school at 4 Oxford Road, Milford, CT 06460. The focus of this workshop will be the 42 Form. The fee is $38. Please contact Master Aiping to register.
NOVEMBER 14, 2009 TAI CHI SWORD WORKSHOP

SEPTEMBER 26, 2009 MOON FESTIVAL
The school will be celebrating the Chinese Moon Festival on September 26, 2009 from 12:00PM - 4:00PM at Sleeping Giant State Park, Hamden, CT. We will enjoy good food, friendship, tai chi, push hands, and other activities. This is a pot luck lunch so please bring something to share. We will also have a picture swap for those who traveled to China in July. Please reserve the date. All students and their guests are welcome, including anyone who travelled to China with us this past July.
MARCH 28, 2009 SUN STYLE TAI CHI WORKSHOP
Master Aiping Cheng will be conducting a Sun Style Tai Chi Workshop at the school at 4 Oxford Road, Milford, CT. The workshop will be from 10:00AM to 11:30AM. The fee is $25.00. Pay in advance by cash or check. Cash only at the door on the day of the workshop. Details can be found

MAY 2, 2009 SHENG ZHEN HEALING QIGONG WORKSHOP
The next Sheng Zhen healing qigong workshop will be May 2 at the school at 4 Oxford Road, Milford, CT. This workshop will review Part 1 of the qigong taught on Feb 7 and will continue with the learning of Part 2. The workshop will be from 10:00AM to 12:30PM. The fee is $35.00. FEBRUARY 7, 2009 HEALING QIGONG WORKSHOP AND CHINESE NEW YEAR PARTY
As a follow up to the visit by GrandMaster Lu Junfeng on Nov 1-2 2008, we will host a quarterly workshop for past participants and newcomers. The next workshop will be held on February 7, 2009 from 10:00AM to 12:30PM. The location will be 4 Oxford Road, Milford, CT 06460. The cost is $35 payable by cash or check (before Jan 24). Walkins allowed as space permits. Cash only accepted at the door.
Immediately after the workshop, we will celebrate the Chinese New Year with a pot luck lunch from 12:30 to 3:00PM at the school. Please feel free to join us. Please bring food, snacks, or drinks to share.
NOVEMBER 1-2, 2008 SHENG ZHEN QIGONG SEMINAR
Aiping's Tai Chi and Qigong Center is pleased to host a seminar conducted by Grandmaster Li Junfeng in November. Li Junfeng has dedicated his life to bringing Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong to the world. He has taught various forms of qigong for more than 40 years, and maintains an international teaching schedule. Master Li is the principal qigong instructor at the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA) in the United States and serves on the board of the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong.
The seminar will cover the basics of Sheng Zhen Qigong and is great for beginners and advanced practitioners.

OCTOBER 12, RELAY FOR LIFE
After the disappointing rain out on Sept 6, the Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) was held on October 12. The day could not have been more beautiful. Thanks to all who contributed or came out to show support. As of today, we raised $1,612 in memory of John and Bill both of whom passed away this year from cancer. OCTOBER 4, 2008 CHINESE MARTIAL ARTS EXPO NEW ENGLAND 2008

SEPTEMBER 13, 2008, QIGONG OPEN HOUSE
An Open House will be held Sept. 13 beginning 10:00AM at the Center introducing the new Qigong curriculum to the general public. All are welcome. Starting Sept 1, Master Aiping will begin teaching weekly classes in Sheng Zhen Qigong. The founder of this qigong is Li Junfeng. Please stop by if your are interested in learning more about this tremendous health program for all ages.
SEPTEMBER 6-7, 2008, RELAY FOR LIFE

JUNE 1, 2008, NEW LOCATION, NEW CURRICULUM, NEW NAME
Beginning June 1, 2008 the school will be located at 4 Oxford Road, Building F, in Milford, CT. Click on "Contact Us" above for directions. Master Aiping will also be changing the curriculum. Going forward, the school will only have classes in internal gongfu (Tai Chi, Xing Yi,Ba Gua) and Qigong. The Qigong classes are brand new so please inquire if you are interested. Don't forget to check the schedule for new class times and locations. Because of the new focus, the school is also being renamed to the
Tai Chi and Qigong Center.
May 2008, INTERNATIONAL WUSHU SANSHOU DAO ASSOCIATION RECOGNIZES MASTER AIPING WITH 8TH DUAN
In honor of Master Aiping's skill, knowledge, and commitment to teaching, she was awarded the 8th Duan by the International Wushu Sanshou Dao Association. This is a rare acheivement and is uncommon outside of China.
MAY 16, 2008, Master Aiping Takes Oath of Citizenship
Contratulations to Master Aiping for successfully completing her citizenship test and taking her oath to the United States of America. Everyone at the school is very proud of her accomplishment.

FEBRUARY 24, 2008: TEN YEAR AWARDS
On February 24th the school celebrated the Year of the Rat. At the party, the following students were recognized for 10 years of study with Master Aiping: Rich Dicine, Regine Vitale, Bill Boyd, Anett Sartor, Bob Shannon, Art Strichman (missing) and Jonas Karosas (missing). Congratulations to all.
